In 1976, the Los Angeles Women's Video Center was established at the Woman's Building. Founded by Annette Hunt, Candace Compton, Nancy Angelo, and Jerri Allyn, the Center supported the work of, among others, Nancy Buchanan, Cheri Gaulke, Susan Mogul, Suzanne Lacy, Sheila Ruth, Judith Barry, and Vanalyne Green.
